Multi-Stakeholder Dialogue Reaffirms Shared Commitment to Healthy Landscapes and Prosperous Communities in South Central Timor Regency

Over the course of four years, from August 2022 to August 2026, Land4Lives achieved significant milestones at the regency and village levels to support its primary goal: establishing climate-resilient community livelihoods. The team conducted action research encompassing policy development and forest and landscape restoration programs, watershed management for climate change adaptation, as well as improved land use and environmental protection for climate mitigation and adaptation. At the site and community levels, activities began with the Free, Prior and Informed Consent (FPIC) process, progressed through the formation of enterprise and learning groups, and culminated in the development of Climate-Smart Agriculture Pilot Sites (TP2CI).

As the program nears its conclusion, it is crucial to safeguard these achievements to ensure their sustainability. The multi-stakeholder dialogue serves as a collaborative platform to share the project’s outcomes with relevant stakeholders and strategic partners. This event provides participating stakeholders with a comprehensive overview of Land4Lives’ achievements, while simultaneously equipping them to carry forward the initiatives and sustain the learning assets that have been established.
